The sunrays burst through the heavens and the birds resume their singing. It is springtime again in Flanders and Brussels is preparing for a new edition of the Floralia. This year, the flower show is entirely devoted to Pieter Bruegel the Elder.

Pieter Bruegel the Elder is considered to be one of the most influential Flemish artists of all time. The Flemish master drew his last breath of air exactly 450 years ago. In commemoration of this, Floralia Brussels will also be paying homage to the great artist.

On the 2.5-acre park of Groot-Bijgaarden Castle, you will find, among other things, a huge, beautiful greenhouse. This spring, the greenhouse will accommodate an exhibition of 21 Bruegel masterpiece reproductions, each one complemented with a touch of floral art. Two completely individual forms of creativity and craftsmanship interwoven with each other.
